Disco Dessert 3/4/22 - "Don't Look Any Further" by the Kane Gang...

 

 

"Don't Look Any Further" was a big club hit for the british sophisti-pop group Kane Gang. Appearing on their second album Miracle, the record is a remake of a hit from former Temptations member Dennis Edwards and Siedah Garrett, written by Franne Golde, Dennis Lambert, and Duane Hitchings. On Billboard magazine's Dance Club Play chart, the single spent a week at #1 in 1988. It was also a minor hit on the Hot 100 at #64, while going to #52 in the UK.
