"Once In A Lifetime Groove" was a big club and urban radio hit for the vocal group New Edition. Appearing on the soundtrack to the movie Running Scared and now on the expanded reissue of their All For Love album, the song was written by Freddie and Christine Perren and Richard Wyatt Jr, and produced by Rod Temperton, Dick Rudolph, and Bruce Swedien. On Billboard magazine's Hot Dance/Disco Club Play chart, the single peaked at #9 in 1986, while reaching #10 on their R&B Singles chart.
