Disco Dessert 11/18/21 - "King For A Day" by XTC...

 

 

"King For A Day" was a club hit for the English alternative rock band XTC. Appearing on their album Oranges & Lemons, the song was written by the group's Colin Moulding and produced by Paul Fox, and remixed by Ivan Ivan for the dance floor. On Billboard magazine's Dance Club Play chart, the single peaked at #46 in 1989.
