"Just Get Up And Dance" was a club hit for hip-hop pioneer Afrika Bambaataa. Appearing on his album 1990-2000 The Decade Of Darkness, the song was written by the Italian house music group DePoint (Sergio Portaluri, David Sion, and Fulvio Zafret), who produced the track with Andrea Gemolott. On Billboard magazine's Dance Club Play chart, the single peaked at #4 in 1991, while just missing the top-40 in the UK at #45.
