"Life (Everybody Needs Somebody To Love)" was a club hit for Trinidadian singer Haddaway. Appearing on his self-titled debut album, the song was written and produced by Junior Torello and Dee Dee Halligan. On Billboard magazine's Dance Club Play chart, the single peaked at #5 in 1994, while just missing the Hot 100 top-40 in America at #41. It also went to #1 in Sweden, Spain, and Finland, and made the top ten all across Europe.
