"Body Mechanic" was a club hit for the duo Quadrant Six. Released as a stand-alone single, the song was written and produced by Emilio Innocenti with the group's John Robie,and remixed by John "Jellybean" Benitez. On Billboard magazine's Dance/Disco Top-80 chart, the single peaked at #25 in 1983.
