"Animal" was a club hit from Canadian singer (Lisa) Dalbello. Appearing on her album Whomanfoursays, the song was written by Dalbello, who co-produced it with Mick Ronson (of David Bowie's Spiders From Mars band). On Billboard magazine's Hot Dance/Disco chart, the single peaked at #51 in 1985.
