Disco Dessert 10/10/21 - "The Tea Dance" by DC Larue...

"The Tea Dance" was a big club hit for singer/songwriter DC Larue. The album, which charted on Billboard magazine's National Disco Action Top-40 as a single entry, spent two weeks at #2 there in 1976, and included the classic "O Ba Ba", which I featured earlier. The set was marketed like it was a soundtrack (it wasn't) about the titular weekend celebrated at mostly LGBT establishments.
