Disco Dessert 10/17/21 - "You're Just The Right Size" by the Salsoul Orchestra...

 

 

"You're Just The Right Size" was a club hit for the Salsoul Orchestra. Appearing on their self-titled debut album, the song was written and produced by the act's leader Vince Montana Jr.. On Record World magazine's Disco File Top-20 chart, the Salsoul Orchestra album was listed as a single entry, with "Salsoul Rainbow" (which I featured before), "You're Just The Right Size", and "Chicago Bus Stop (Ooh, I Love It)" listed as the key DJ cuts. The record peaked at #4 in 1975, while on Billboard magazine, the "You're Just The Right Size" single went to #88 on the pop chart and #76 on the R&B list.
