"Love Fever" was a big club hit for Washington, DC native Gayle Adams. Appearing on her second album Love Fever, the song was written and produced by Willie Lester and Rodney Brown, and remixed by club great Francois Kevorkian. On Billboard magazine's Disco Top-80 chart, the single peaked at #6 in 1981, while climbing to #24 on their R&B chart.
