"Is You Is Or Is You Ain't (My Baby)" was a club hit for the British duo Rae & Christian featuring the vocals of jazz icon Dinah Washington. Appearing on the Verve Remixed album, the song was a cover of an R&B from 1943 by its co-writer, Louis Jordan, who penned the song with Billy Austin. Washington's original version, produced by Quincy Jones, came out in 1956. On Billboard magazine's Dance Club Play chart, the single peaked at #28 in 2002.
