"Smoke Machine" was a club hit for the club act X-Press 2. Appearing on their first full-length album Muzikizum, the track was written and produced by the group's Darren House, Darren Rock, and Ashley Beedle. On Billboard magazine's Dance Club Play chart, the single peaked at #31 in 2001.
