"Freebase" was a club hit for DJ Tall Paul, aka British producer Paul Newman. Released on his album Back & Forth, the track was written by Newman, who produced it with Laurence "Larry Lush" Elliott-Potter. On Billboard magazine's Dance Club Play chart, the single peaked at #14 in 2000.
