Disco Dessert 6/25/21 - "Don't Let Go" by Isaac Hayes...

 

 

"Don't Let Go" was a club and radio hit for the late soul master Isaac Hayes. Appearing on his album Don't Let Go, the song was a disco remake of a #2 hit for Roy Hamilton way back in 1958, with Hayes producing himself. On Billboard magazine's Disco Top-100 chart, the single peaked at #3 in 1979, followed by climbing the pop Hot 100 to #18.
