"E-Man Boogie" was a club hit for funk musician/bandleader Jimmy Castor and his Jimmy Castor Bunch. Appearing on the album Butt Of Course..., the song was written by the band's Gerry Thomas and Doug Gibson. On Billboard magazine's Disco Action chart, the Butt Of Course album was listed as a single entry, with "E-Man Boogie" listed as the key cut. The record peaked at #3 in 1975.
