Disco Dessert 7/4/20 - "I Love America" from Patrick Juvet...

"I Love America" was a club hit for Swiss-born singer Patrick Juvet. Appearing on his album Got A Feeling, the song was produced by Jacques Morali, creator of the Village People, who co-wrote the song with Juvet and Village People "policeman" Victor Willis. On Billboard magazine's National Disco Action Top-40, the Got A Feeling album charted as one entry, with "I Love America", "Where Is My Woman", and "Got A Feeling" marked as key cuts. The album peaked at #5 there in 1978.
