Disco Dessert 7/23/20 - "I Don't Know What I'd Do (If You Ever Left Me)" from Sweet Cream....

"I Don't Know What I'd Do (If You Ever Left Me)" was a club and radio hit for the vocal group Sweet Cream. Hailing from Detroit, the trio featured sisters Esther, Gloria, and Gracie Ridgeway. The song was written by Robert Ray Barnes and Victor Hall, and appeared on their sole album Sweet Cream & Other Delights. On Billboard magazine's National Disco Action Top-40 chart, the single charted two times in 1978, first on the Bareback Records label at #32, then in the summer re-released on Shady Brook Records, where it climbed to #9. The re-release also just missed the R&B top-40 at #41.
