Disco Dessert 7/16/20 - "Laura" from the Biddu Orchestra...

"Laura" was an album cut from the studio group Biddu Orchestra, led by Indian musician Biddu Appaiah. Appearing on their 1976 album Rain Forest, the version of the movie soundtrack classic written by David Raksin was produced by Biddu. Though it never reached any American chart (the title track went to #18 on the Disco chart), the song was a favorite of DJs and clubgoers.
