"It's Good For The Soul" was a DJ favorite from the Salsoul Orchestra. Appearing on the act's second album Nice 'N' Naasty, the song was written and produced by Vincent Montana Jr and remixed by Walter Gibbons. On Billboard magazine's National Disco Action Top-40 chart, the Nice 'N' Naasty album charted as one entry, though this cut wasn't listed, but rather "Nice 'N' Naasty", "Salsoul 3001", and "Don't Beat Around The Bush". The record peaked at #3 there in 1976.
