Twostepcub's music chart for February 28, 2020...

Friday's here, and it's time to run down my top 100 "hit" singles from the previous week. Dua Lipa remains at #1 for a third week, while Lewis Capaldi (pictured above) sees a second song leap into the top ten. Former big hits from Lana Del Rey, Galantis/Dolly Parton/Mr. Probs, Niall Horan, Tom Walker, and Dermot Kennedy drop off my list, while songs from Billie Eilish, the Unlikely Candidates, and Jonas Brothers make the biggest jumps (moves of 10+ places highlighted in red). Trust me, coughing now gets you the nastiest looks...

The fourth radio single from Taylor Swift's Lover album, "The Man", claims the top debut of the week at #82. This is while the third, "Lover", is still in the top-40 at #32. It's a witty take on how the press and the world treat her as opposed to male music stars...

Green Day follows up their top five hit "Father Of All..." with "Oh Yeah!", which enters at #84. It interpolates the hook from Joan Jett & The Blackhearts' 1982 hit cover of Gary Glitter's "Do You Wanna Touch Me!"...

British indie-rock singer Michael Kiwanuka is back with a song from one of my favorite albums of last year, Kiwanuka, as "Hero" arrives at #86...

While Camila Cabello is in the top ten as a guest on Ed Sheeran's "South of the Border", she moves in at #88 with "My Oh My" featuring rapper DaBaby (his first time on my list)...

Danish neo-heavy metal band Volbeat roll in at #89 with the second single from their current album Rewind, Replay, Rebound. "Die To Live" features singer/guitarist Neil Fallon of the band Clutch...

As Dua Lipa is still sitting pretty at #1, the second new track from her upcoming album Future Nostalgia, "Physical", checks in at #91...

Michigander metalcore band I Prevail return at #95 with "Hurricane". It's the second single from their album Trauma to make my list after "Breaking Down"...

Brazilian DJ Alok (Petrillo) claims his first hit on my chart by teaming up with Lithuanian producer Dynoro (who has made it twice before) on the dance radio hit "On & On" at #96...

The final newbie of the week happens to be the biggest single in the U.S. right now, "The Box" from rapper Roddy Rich, which slips in at #99 (NFSW for the n-word)...
