Disco Dessert 2/13/20 - "Just An Illusion" from Imagination...

"Just An Illusion" was a club hit for the British R&B group Imagination. Appearing on their album In The Heat Of The Night, the song was written by group members Leee John and Ashley Ingram with producers Steve Jolley and Tony Swain, who would go on to produce hits for Bananarama, Alison Moyet, and Spandau Ballet. On Billboard magazine's Dance/Disco Top-80 chart, the song peaked at #15 in 1982, while becoming a big pop hit in their native England, going all the way to #2. (NSFW-ish for brief boobies)
