Disco Dessert 2/22/20 - "Good Times" from Chic...

"Good Times" was a club and radio classic from the band Chic, fronted by guitar legend Nile Rodgers. Appearing on their album Risque', the song was written and produced by Rodgers with bassist Bernard Edwards. On Billboard magazine's Disco Top-80, the entire Risque' album charted as one entry, with "My Feet Keep Dancing" and "My Forbidden Lover" listed with "Good Times" as key tracks. Stunningly, the album, arguably with the most recognized song in the disco era, only made it to #3 on the Disco Top-80 in 1979. The song did top both the American pop and R&B chart, though.
