Disco Dessert 10/9/19 - "Love Insurance" from Sharon Redd as Front Page....

"Love Insurance" was a club hit for the late Sharon Redd, who recorded the song under the moniker Front Page. Released as a one-off single (the only one credited to "Front Page"), the song was written by Steve Plotnicki and Eddie Rubin. On Billboard's Disco Top-80 chart, the single climbed to #5. Redd first made her name as one of Bette Midler's "Harlettes" in the 1970s. She later on had a bunch of hits in her own name before passing away from complications from AIDS in 1992.
