Disco Dessert 10/10/19 - "One For You, One For Me" from La Bionda...

"One For You, One For Me" was a big European club hit for one of the pioneering acts of Italian-style disco, or "Italo-Disco", La Bionda. Brothers Carmelo and Michaelangelo La Bionda also recorded as D.D. Sound, but for this 1978 self-titled album they used their surname as the moniker. While "One For You, One For Me" never was a hit in the U.S., the song was popular throughout Europe, reaching #1 in Belgium, and the top ten in Germany (#2), Switzerland (#3), Austria (#5), and the Netherlands (#7). It was also a minor hit in the UK at #54, as well as their Italian home at #45.
