"Shake It Up Tonight" was a big club hit for singer Cheryl Lynn. Appearing on her album In The Night which was produced by Ray Parker, Jr. the song was written by Michael and Brenda Sutton. On Billboard magazine's Disco Top 100 chart, the single climbed to #5 in 1981.
