"Funkytown" is a classic disco hit for the funk studio act Lipps, Inc. Featuring musician and songwriter Steven Greenberg and singer Cynthia Johnson, the song appeared on their debut album Mouth To Mouth. In 1980, the track, along with "B-side" "All Night Dancing" listed as the album charted as one, spent four weeks at #4 on the Disco/Dance Tracks chart in Billboard magazine.
