"Shake Your Body (Down To The Ground)" was a club hit for the Jacksons, who had moved from Motown over to Epic Records by then. Written by Michael and Randy Jackson, the song appeared on their album Destiny. That set charted as one entry on the Disco/Dance Tracks chart in Billboard magazine (with this song listed with "Blame It On The Boogie", climbing to #20 in the beginning of 1979, though it stayed on the chart for 25 weeks.
