"It's Serious" was a club hit for the funk band from New York City, Cameo. Appearing on their second album We All Know Who We Are, the song was written by lead singer Larry Blackmon and keyboardist Doc Johnson. "It's Serious" peaked at #29 in the Disco/Dance Tracks chart in Billboard magazine, while also making it to #21 on their R&B chart as well.
