"That's Where The Happy People Go" was a club hit for the soul/funk/disco group from Philadelphia, The Trammps. Appearing on their album Where The Happy People Go, the song was written by band member and producer Ronnie Baker. The song topped the Disco/Dance Tracks chart in Billboard magazine for two weeks in 1976. It also climbed to #12 on the R&B chart, and #27 on the pop Hot 100 in America.
