Album you should know 3/19/19 - "Singing To Strangers" from Jack Savoretti...

Singing To Strangers, the new album from English singer-songwriter Jack Savoretti, is turning out to be another one of my favorite sets coming in this promising year. Something about his raspy, emotive voice locks into my psyche like a remora and just won't let go. First single "Candlelight" is like a theme to a movie I really need to see made, done in the style of old French troubadours mixed with rock inflection like the Arctic Monkeys backing him up...

But this one, "Love Is On The Line", is my favorite from the set...

And not everthing is bombast, which this lite-funk of "Youth & Love"...

And the album even includes his sad, sweet duet with Kylie Minogue, "Music's Too Sad Without You"....
