Dance Sweep: June 25, 2016...


I'm ready to wrap up this week's 'music sweeps', checking out the songs making their way on to the charts in Billboard magazine, and I'll close things out with the latest dance jams in the clubs and on the radio...

On the DJ-polled Dance Club Play chart,  Sia racks up her fourth #1 hit with "Cheap Thrills" featuring Sean Paul...

NERVO's Collateral album is truly one of the best dance albums of the decade, and the seventh single to make the chart from the set is "Let It Go" with Nicky Romero, which comes in at #41. Grade: B-

The remixes of Zara Larsson and MNEK's top-20 pop hit (and former Dance Pick of the Week) "Never Forget You" lands at #47. Grade: B+


This week's "Dance Pick" goes to Mike Taylor with "Body High" at #48. He previously sang on Afrojack's top-10 club hit "Summerthing!". Grade: B


DJ/producer Zedd and singer/songwriter Kesha's collaboration "True Colors" washes in at #49. Grade: C+


Jennifer Lopez is back at #50 with "Ain't Your Mama". Grade: D+


Meanwhile, on the radio-monitored Dance Airplay/Mixshow chart, Calvin Harris and Rihanna remain on top for a second week with "This Is What You Came For"...

Colorado-based electropop group Breathe Carolina return to the chart at #36 with "Stars And Moon" with Shanahan featuring HAILENE. Grade: C+


Marshmello drops in at #37 with "Alone". Grade: C-


The final newbie at #39 is Kent Jones with his R&B/pop hit "Don't Mind".
