The highest debut this week is the new one by Rihanna, who's had more success recently on pop radio than R&B, though her single "Birthday Cake" with sparring partner Chris Brown peaked at #2 earlier this year. Her latest, "Diamonds", pops in at #66...

Canadian DJ/rapper/producer The Weeknd (born Abel Tesfaye)was in the R&B top-10 in June supporting fellow countryman Drake on "Crew Love", and he's back this week with two singles, the first with him as a lead artist, "Wicked Games" at #67...

Atlanta rap star Ludacris has racked up two #1 hits here as a lead artist, "Stand Up"  and "Money Maker", and his latest, "Representin'", featuring child of Destiny Kelly Rowland, jumps in at #74.

Memphis-based rap artist Dizzy D comes in at #80 with "Next". His bio says he's a schoolteacher and coach, which is pretty damn cool. His "How Do You Want It" hit #58 earlier this year...

Singer Avery Sunshine is at #84 with her first hit, "Ugly Part Of Me'. She's from the Chester County, PA area, and has been involved on the stage in Atlanta for a while...

RCA Records is preparing a new Whitney Houston hits collection, and to promote it they are including a new version of her top-20 R&B hit "I Look To You" redone as a duet between Whitney and the song's writer, R. Kelly, and it now comes in at #90. She had eight #1 songs on the R&B chart in her career, from 1985's "You Give Good Love" to "Heartbreak Hotel" from 1999...

The second charting single from Pittsburgh rapper Wiz Khalifa's upcoming album O.N.I.F.C., "Remember You" featuring the Weeknd, enters at #97. His biggest hit so far on R&B was "Black And Yellow", which peaked at #6 in 2010...

Meanwhile over on the Adult R&B radio chart, Anita Baker's "Lately" remains at #1 for a second week...

There's only one debut this week on this list, and its superstar Usher, with his latest, "Dive" at #26. He's topped this chart four times since its inception in 2007, his first being "Here I Stand" in 2008..

That covers the soul side of the house, check back in 90 minutes and I'll bring you the latest on country radio this week. Groove on!
