Country Sweep: November 3, 2012...
Welcome back, and now we're up to the fourth part of today's "chart sweeps" where I take a look at the new songs making their way onto the weekly music charts at Billboard magazine. This time it's the latest on country radio (no, not the corrupted "country songs" chart)...
Carrie Underwood is at #1 for a second week on the Country Airplay chart with "Blown Away"..
The big winner this week is Jason Aldean, who not only has the #1 album in the land this week, but also has the top debut at #47 with "The Only Way I Know" featuring Luke Bryan and Eric Church. Between the three of them they claim 14 #1 country hits (8 for Aldean, 4 for Bryan, and 2 for Church)...

Singer and Nashville Star winner Chris Young is in at #48 with the fourth song from his current album Neon, "I Can Take It From Here". He had five #1s in a row from 2009 to 2011, with "Voices" setting a record for the longest number of weeks before making #1 (51)...
Country-rock bad boy Brantley Gilbert arrives at #53 with "More Than Miles", the fourth single from his debut Halfway To Heaven. The first two, "Country Must Be Countrywide" and "You Don't Know Her Like I Do", topped the chart last year...
The last entry is by husband and wife duo Thompson Square, with the first single from their upcoming album, "If I Didn't Have You", at #56. They took "Are You Gonna Kiss Me Or Not" to #1 in 2010...
That's it for the country room in the house, I'll be back around in an hour and a half to close this out with the latest dance jams in the clubs and on the radio. Twang on!
