...while they also come in at #52 with "Feuer" ("Fire")...

Though not a debut per se, it's notable that singer Philippe Poisel's 2010 single "Wie soll ein Mensch das ertragen" ("How Can Someone Endure") rockets back on the chart at #5 this week...
K-pop king PSY is inescapable as his world domination rolls on into Germany as "Gangnam Style" debuts at #25 this week...
Another act conquering the world is the Swedish House Mafia, who get their second German top-40 hit as "Don't You Worry Child" featuring John Martin comes in at #28. Previously "Save The World" went to #37 here last year...
German DJ Michael Mind, from the western border city of Aachen, had a top-20 hit here in 2007 with his version of "Blinded By The Light" featuring Manfred Mann, and now arrives at #40 with "Feeling So Blue", featuring American singer Dante Thomas, who topped the chart here himself in 2001 with "Miss California". The new collaboration is a rework of the Eiffel 65 hit "Blue (Da Ba Dee)", a #1 single here in 1999...
One notch below Mind at #41 is singer/songwriter Leslie Clio, with "Told You So"...(NSFW for the f word)
British folk-rock group Mumford & Sons get their first German hit at #69 with their new single, "I Will Wait"...
German rockers Silbermond hail from the eastern town of Bautzen, and they've topped the chart here two times, with "Das Beste" ("The Best") in 2006 and "Irgendwas bleibt" ("Something Remains") in 2009. They're one of my favorite German bands, and their latest, "Ja" ("Yes"), comes in at #70...
Swedish/Canadian Classical artist Jonas Kvarnström arrives at #70 with "Una mattina - Theme From The Movie Ziemlich beste Freunde" ("One Morning" theme from the "Untouchables")..there's no video or music clip for this version, but to get an idea here's a cover of the song on piano...
Finally, German rock singer Joachim Witt is in at #84 with "Gloria". He's been kicking round the pop scene here since the 80s...
Well that covers it for this week. Thanks for dropping by, and stay tuned tomorrow for another Song of the Day, candletime, 6 of the 60s, and a trip Down Under on Aussie Sweep. Cheers!
