It's time for my weekly recap of the new songs making their way on to the official sales chart in Germany. This week, K-pop phenomenon PSY leaps from #9 to #1 with "Gangnam Style".
The top debut this week is Rihanna's new single "Diamonds", which jumps in at #4 this week. She has topped the chart four times in Germany so far in her career, the latest time with "We Found Love" for three weeks at the end of last year...

Entering at #12 is the reggae/rock band from Berlin, Seeed, with "Augerbling" ("Eye Bling"), from their self-titled album, which is the biggest-selling album in the country this week....
Arriving at #14 is Laing another Berlin group, with "Morgens immer müde" ("I'm Always Tired")....
Taylor Swift conquers yet another country as her crossover hit "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" comes in at #21. She's only had two top-100 hits in this country, with "Love Story" in 2008 peaking at #22...
One notch below Taylor is another worldwide hit, One Direction's "Live While We're Young" at #22. Like Swift, they're not as big here, as their big hit "What Makes You Beautiful" only went to #40 here earlier this year...
At #23 is American rapper Pitbull, with "Don't Stop The Party" featuring TJR. He went to #2 as a lead artist last year with "Give Me Everything"...
Arriving at #54 is the dance/pop act Follow Your Instinct with "No Matter What They Say" featuring Samu Haber, the lead singer of Finnish rock group Sunrise Avenue, who had a top-3 hit last year with "Hollywood Hills"...(NSFW for the F word)
It's surprising but Canadian songstress Sarah McLachlan finally scored a top-100 hit in Germany with the song that now makes you wince when it comes on the TV, "Angel", which pops in at #57
Debuting at #58 is rock band Luxuslärm with "Liebt sie dich wie ich?" ("Does She Love You Like Me?"), their eighth charting hit in Germany...
Coming in at #59 is Aura Dione, a singer/songwriter from Denmark that has already topped the German chart twice, with "I Will Love You Monday (365)" in 2009 and last year's "Geronimo". Her latest is "In Love With The World", the third single from her sophomore album Before The Dinosaurs...
It's a good week for Miami-based rappers here this week, as the aforementioned Pitbull is joined on the chart by Flo Rida at #76 with "I Cry". He topped the list with "Good Feeling" this year...
The songs by Laing and Luxuslarm above were finalists in the Bundesvision Song Contest, which is their national version of Eurovision, where each German state gets an entry to compete. The third act to be a part of the program is by northern German rockers Vierkanttretlager, with their song "Fotoalbum" ("Photo Album") at #86...
British singer Ellie Goulding pops in at #87 with her new single, "Anything Could Happen". Her biggest hit so far in this country is "Starry Eyed" with went to #46 in 2010...
The last entry is be Bavarian singer Joey Heindle, who placed fifth in Germany's version of the Idol franchise, Deutschland sucht den Superstar, earlier this year. His first hit at #94 is "Die ganze Welt dreht sich um dich" ("The Whole World Revolves Around You")...
