Today's song of the day comes from Philly glam metal band Cinderella, whose sophomore album Long Cold Winter had scored them a top-20 pop hit with the power-ballad second single "Don't Know What You Got ('Til It's Gone)" in the fall of 1988. They followed that up with the more upbeat road anthem "The Last Mile". Written by lead singer Tom Kiefer, the guitar crunch of Jeff LaBar dominated this concert fave...
"The Last Mile" became Cinderella's third top-40 pop hit in the U.S. in March of 1988. The single also climbed to #18 on Billboard's Mainstream Rock radio chart.
