"You Stepped Into My Life" was a club hit for singer/actress Melba Moore. Appearing on her album Melba, the song was written and originally released by the Bee Gees. On Billboard's National Disco Action Top-40, the song peaked at #5 in 1978. It also peaked at #17 on their R&B chart and just missed the pop Hot 100 top-40 at #47.
