"The Greatest Show On Earth" was a club hit for the disco studio act Metropolis. Put together by producer Pete Bellotte (Donna Summer's go-to) and featuring Nina and Thor Baldursson, the song comes from their sole album The Greatest Show On Earth. Listed along with 12" single A-side "New York Is My Kind Of Town", the song climbed to #24 on the National Disco Action Top-40 chart in Billboard magazine in 1978.
