Disco Dessert 9/1/19 - "Always There" from Side Effect...

"Always There" was a club hit for jazz-funk vocal group Side Effect. The song appeared on the L.A. act's third album What You Need. On Billboard's Disco File Top-20 list, the track peaked at #18, while on their R&B chart it landed at #56. Younger club-goers may know it better as the sample base for the 1990s club hit "Such A Good Feelin'" by Brothers In Rhythm in 1991.
