Disco Dessert 4/9/21 - "I Like You" by Phyllis Nelson...

 

 

"I Like You" was a big club hit for singer Phyllis Nelson. Appearing on her second album I Like You, the song was written by Nelson and produced by Yves Dessca, and remixed by Shep Pettibone. On Billboard magazine's Dance/Disco Club Play chart, the single spent a week at #1 in 1985, while making it to #61 on the pop Hot 100. Sadly, Phyllis passed away from cancer in 1998.
