Disco Dessert 4/11/21 - "You Are In My System" by Robert Palmer...

 

 

"You Are In My System" was a club hit for the late British singer Robert Palmer. Appearing on his album Pride, the record was a cover of the R&B/dance single from the System, which was only a hit less than a year prior. It was written by the duo's Mic Murphy and David Frank, and Palmer's version was produced by himself. On Billboard magazine's Dance/Disco Top-80 chart, the single peaked at #4 in 1983. Palmer passed in 2003 of a heart attack at 54.
