"Say You Do" was a club and urban radio hit for a young Janet Jackson. Appearing on her debut album Janet Jackson, the song was written by Rene Moore and Angela Winbush, who both produced it with Bobby Watson, with Rick Gianatos handling the remix. On Billboard magazine's Dance/Disco Top-80 chart, the single peaked at #11 in 1983, while making it to #15 on their R&B chart.
