One of the biggest British vocal groups ever, Girls Aloud, started out as a collective formed on the TV singing competition Popstars, and had relayed that to a career that spawned twenty top-ten hits in a row. After going on hiatus in 2009, four of the five women in the group - Cheryl Cole, Nadine Coyle, Nicola Roberts, and Kimberley Walsh - had top-40 hits of their own. Cheryl also judged the show X Factor for years, as well as having the most successful solo stint. Now the four with original member Sarah Harding are back with a reunion single at #2 that benefits Children In Need, and is their biggest hit since 2008's chart-topper "The Promise". The song is appropriately titled "Something New"...

The third big debut this week is by New Yorker Alicia Keys with "Girl On Fire" at #5. So far her best showing was at #2 on Jay-Z's "Empire State Of Mind" in 2009...

The version of the Christmas standard "O Holy Night", performed by the choir at the school, arrives at #64, but there's no clip available for it as yet...

Another AC/DC classic, "Whole Lotta Rosie", jumps in at #68...

Nicki Minaj released a new version of her latest album Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded called The Re-Up (not to be confused with the plain old Pink Friday), and two songs from that set debut on the UK chart. At #74 is "High School" featuring rapper Lil' Wayne...

At #75 is another Rihanna song, "Half Of Me"...

Northern Irish rockers Two Door Cinema Club debut at #89 with "Sun"...
