Today's Song of the Day is by the Dutch rock band named for its guitarist/leader, Ad "Adje" Vandenberg, who formed the group in the early 80s. They released their self-titled first album (recorded at Jimmy Page's studio) in 1982, and the first single, "Burning Heart", became their first (and only) pop hit, written by the guitarist and sung by Bert Heerink.

The classic arena-rock-styled track grazed the pop top-40, but was a big rock hit, making it up to #5 on that chart. But after only one more minor rock hit ("Friday Night") and a couple more albums, the band split up, with Adje joining Whitesnake during their most successful stint in the late 80s.
