Aussie Sweep: November 7, 2012...


Hey gang, it's time for this week's trip down under for a look at the new music entering the official sales charts in Australia.

This week PSY commands a sixth week at #1 with "Gangnam Style"..

The top debut here this week at #28 is the first hit single by American rapper Macklemore and collaborator Ryan Lewis, with the infectiously hilarious "Thrift Shop"...(NSFW)

X Factor Australia contestant Bella Ferraro pops in at #59 with her version of the Temper Trap's "Sweet Disposition" (which also returns at #87)...


British singer Cher Lloyd enters at #61 with "Oath" featuring Becky G. This is her third chart hit in this country - "Want U Back" made the top-40 here earlier this year...


Last year X Factor finalist and winner of Dancing With The Stars in this country this year, Johnny Ruffo is at #81 with "Take It Home". The extra-hottie took "On Top" to #14 before...


The final new song on the chart this week at #91 is by another X Factor contestant, Nathaniel Willemse, with his take on Daniel Merriweather's "Red" (which also comes back at #66)..
