Bryan Adams - "One Night Love Affair"
from the album Reckless (1984)
Billboard Hot 100 peak: #13 (one week)
Weeks in the Top-40: 9

Today's Song of the Day is by Canadian rocker Bryan Adams, whose Reckless album had already spun off four big hits with "Run To You", "Somebody", "Summer Of '69", and the #1 pop hit "Heaven". Reckless became one of those few mega-smash albums that pushed out a fifth single, and it was the opening album track "One Night Love Affair", written by Adams with longtime writing partner Jim Vallance and produced by the artist with "big sound" rock producer Bob Clearmountain...

"One Night Love Affair" became the fifth top-20 hit from Reckless in November of 1985, while making it to #7 on Billboard's Mainstream Rock radio chart. In Adams' home country, the single peaked at #19, and Down Under in Australia, the record was a minor hit at #85.

Up tomorrow: Philly boys shimmied all about.
