Today's Song of the Day comes from the big-haired rock band from the Bay area, Night Ranger, whose third album 7 Wishes had produced a top-10 hit with "Sentimental Street" in the summer of 1985. For the set's second single the group released "Four In The Morning", written by bass guitarist Jack Blades at that god-awful early hour about an addictive love, while the over-the-top video carries on the "plotline" from the previous single...
"Four In The Morning" became Night Ranger's fifth top-40 pop hit in October of 1985, while climbing to #13 on Billboard magazine's Mainstream Rock radio chart. North of the border in Canada it also was a minor hit at #84...
