twostepcub's music chart for November 25, 2022...
Friday's here, and it's time to run down my top 100 "hit" tunes from the previous week. Steve Lacy holds on at #1 for a fifth week, while country singer Jackson Dean (pictured above) moves up a notch in the top ten. Song from Stephen Sanchez, Doja Cat, and the Heavy Heavy make the biggest jumps (moves of 10+ places highlighted in red), while former big hits from Imagine Dragons, Kate Bush, John Legend, Em Beihold, Cody Johnson, and Justin Moore drop off my chart. And under the list everything is Spotify-playlisted for 5 1/2 hours of the biggest in pop, rock, R&B, country, and dance music. Let the Christmas season finally commence!

The highest debut of this week up at #63 is claimed by a newcomer, singer/songwriter Wyn Starks, with "Who I Am". Starks performed the song on America's Got Talent, which received a tearful response from music expert Sofia Vergara (/s) but of course he was voted off because this country is stupid and will remain stupid.
Talk, the moniker of Canadian singer/songwriter Nick Durocher, comes in right behind Wyn at #64 with his own breakthrough single "Run Away To Mars"...
Nate Smith, one of the new group of country music singers getting their start on the TikTok app, makes his debut at #68 with "Whiskey On You"...
Jason Singer's appropriately-named band Michigander arrives at #83 with their latest, "Stay Out Of It"...
The second song from goth-rock icon Ozzy Osbourne's comeback album Patient Number 9, "One Of Those Days", drops in at #85...
Newcomer Nya makes her way in at #89 with "Closer Than Close"...
Danish pop band Lukas Graham joins forces with American R&B singer Khalid at #90 for "Wish You Were Here"...
Country singer Kane Brown brings his wife Katelyn on at #95 for "Thank God", from his Different Man album...
Lady Blackbird, the reinvented persona of American jazz singer (and queer woman of color) Marley Munroe, is making a big splash in the UK and making my list at #97 with "Feel It Comin'", one of my favorite singles of this year...
L.A. trio TELYkast are back at #99 with the dance music act's latest, "Body To Body"...
Bringing up the rear at #100 is the Zac Brown Band with "Out In The Middle", the second single from their album The Comeback...
