Disco Dessert 11/6/22 - "What Can You Do For Me" by Utah Saints...

"What Can You Do For Me" was a big club hit for the British techno act Utah Saints. Originally appearing on their debut album Utah Saints, the song was written by the group's Jeremy Willis using samples of Gwen Guthrie's "Ain't Nothing Going On But The Rent" and the Eurythmics' "There Must Be An Angel". A re-release of the track with new remixes by John Morales in 1993 helped it rise to #3 on Billboard magazine's Dance Club Play chart, while the original made it to #32 there in 1992 as well as #10 on the British Singles chart.
