"You Promised Me" was a club hit for Italian singer/songwriter In-Grid (aka Ingrid Alberini). Originally appearing on her album Rendez-vous under the title "Tu Es Foutu", or "You Are Fucked", the song written by Ingrid with producer Marco Soncini was re-recorded in English for the American and British Commonwealth markets. On Billboard magazine's Dance Club Play chart, the single peaked at #6 in 2003.
